School & Community Service
SGA Summer Sizzler
As someone who understands the significance of feeling welcomed and at ease in a new setting, I find great joy in coordinating and volunteering at the Student Government Summer Sizzler. This annual picnic event serves as a warm introduction for new and transfer students joining our school community. Engaging with my peers enables me to give back to our school while fostering connections
with fellow students.

SGA New Student Orientation
Being part of my school's student government association and helping with new student orientation has been something I look forward to each year. This event gives me the opportunity to guide incoming students around campus and provide them with any information they need.
I understand how overwhelming it can be to enroll in a new school, so I am always thrilled to offer any assistance that I can provide.

Panther Pals/Peer Mentor
As a Peer Mentor for the Options program at PVI, I have had the incredible opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Through mentoring, tutoring, and emotional support, I have seen these students flourish academically and personally. Being part of such an important program that champions inclusion, diversity, and success for all students is truly a privelage.

Humane Rescue Alliance
I had the opportunity to volunteer for the Humane Rescue Alliance of Washington, D.C. and give back to my community by making dog treat mats. I carefully cut materials, knotted the fabric, and assembled the 100 dog treat mats with care. It was rewarding to know that every mat I crafted would bring comfort to a furry friend in need.

Girl Scout Cookie Care Packages
I prioritize volunteering whenever possible, but have a deep belief in the importance of giving back to our military family. My Girl Scout troop creates and delivers cookie care packages to the midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy every February during the “Dark Ages”. Both of my older siblings graduated from the USNA and are currently serving as active-duty officers, so this effort holds special meaning for me.

Recreation Soccer Coach
As a Recreation Soccer Coach, I have successfully coached my brothers 2011 boys’ soccer team, where I teach fundamental skills, such as dribbling, shooting, and passing. In addition, I also managed practice schedules, games, and rosters. My passion for soccer is contagious and it's my goal to inspire the young athletes to reach their full potential, while giving back to my community.
